Farnell element14 have announced that they will be stocking the BitScope BS10 measurement device which combines a 2-channel USB oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, 8-channel logic analyzer and function generator. You can use it with a PC running Windows or Linux, an Apple Mac or even a Raspberry Pi. Sampling rate is up to 40Msample/s giving it an analog bandwidth of 20MHz. The software supports frame rates beyond 20Hz and includes a ‘digital phosphor’ display mode. Resolution is up to 12bits.
According to Chris Godfrey, Global Product Director Test & Tools at Farnell element14, “There has long been a requirement in the market for an entry level oscilloscope to support the maker community and Raspberry Pi specifically. This low cost model from BitScope has all the functionality required for a plug and play oscilloscope.”

The scope input impedance is 1MΩ/10pF allowing standard scope probes to be used once BNC sockets are added at the input. The logic analyzer input impedance is 100 kΩ.
